PSA Vault custody

The card is in the vault. The proof is in the log.

Every fully funded card is bought and placed in third-party PSA Vault custody, with a public, append-only log of every step — purchased, shipped, delivered, vaulted — each with its real-world reference.

The pipeline

Four steps, each with a receipt

The custody log on every card page is written as things actually happen — and every entry carries the reference that lets you verify it independently.

01
Purchased

The moment funding completes, we buy the exact listing from eBay’s PSA Store.

Logged: order number

PSA receives the slab and confirms arrival against the tracked shipment.

Who holds it

Third-party custody, not ours.

Cards live in the PSA Vault — the grading company’s own secured storage — not in a drawer at SlabStake. Every cert is verified against PSA’s registry before a card ever lists.

If it falls through

Failed acquisitions refund everyone.

If the listing dies or is repriced before we can buy, the card is cancelled and every holder is refunded in full, automatically. No card, no charge.

When it leaves

Only a majority sends it to sale.

A card leaves the vault only when holders of more than 50% of its shares support selling. Proceeds split pro-rata by shares — guaranteed to sum to the exact sale amount.

See it for yourself.

Open any vaulted card and read its custody log, step by step.
